Conditions of Enrolment (Please Read Carefully)

  1. Prospective students must complete and return this enrolment form together with full payment of their tuition fee before starting lessons.
  2. No refunds will be made after the course has commenced, unless JIC Language School cancels the course. There is no refund on course materials after purchase. This applies to all classes.
  3. Cancellation fee ($25+GST) may be charged for cancellation prior to the commencement of the course.
  4. Unused portions of classes are not transferable to other persons.
  5. Administration fee ($15) will be charged for initial enrolments or if students stop learning over 3 months (counting from the day the previous course ends).
  6. The administration fee ($10) will be charged if students pay the tuition fee in installments.
  7. Special offers or discounts cannot be used in conjunction with other special offers or discounts.
  8. 2% surcharge will be charged for credit card payments due to the bank charges.
  9. JIC Language School reserves the right to alternate teachers and make changes to curriculum at any time, without notice.
  10. As per our privacy policy, staff members may not give any student their personal contact details. Any communication to any staff member must be directed to our email address or phone number.
  11. JIC Language School respects students’ right to privacy and any personal information provided will be held in confidence. The information provided will primarily only be used for the service they have requested of us.
  12. Providing JIC Language School with current contact details at all times is mandatory and students must notify us of any changes. Failure to do this may mean not receiving important information which may affect their course and enrolment. We will not be responsible for any delay or failure in your receipt of such information.

Applies only to Group students.

  • Minimum 3 students in a group class. The length of classes may be shortened if there are less than 2 students.
  • No refund will be given for unattended classes. However, in the case of classes having been missed by the student, a private "catch-up" lesson maybe arranged at the cost of $30 per hour.
  • For Beginner A course W1-3 catch up lesson fee will be $45+GST per hour
  • An additional fee ($10) will be charged if students pay the tuition fee in instalments.
  • Administration fee ($15) will be charged for initial enrolment or non-concurrent enrolments. GST is included in materials and administration fees only.
  • In the case of teacher’s absence, another teacher will be assigned without notice.
  • One time discount of $10 will be applied for student Introduced and enrolment of friends to JIC School.
  • A discount (5%) will be applied in the following circumstances.
    • Enrolment of more than 1 course in the same term.
    • Enrolment in 2 or more terms in advance.
    • Three or more family member that study together for the same term.
    • Student who have a concession, disability, senior’s card.

Applies only to private students and custom made classes.

  • Private students must give 24 hours notice, during business hours if they are unable to attend a lesson. Failure to do so will incur a fee equal to the cost of the lesson.
  • Private lessons must be taken within 1 year of the date of purchase. After this period, money paid will be forfeited.

  • Photocopying charges ($10) for more than 50 pages.

Applies only to Skype lessons.

  • Skype lesson students must give 24 hours notice, during business hours if they are unable to attend a lesson. Failure to do so will incur a fee equal to the cost of the lesson.
  • Online lessons must be taken within 3 months of the date of purchase. After this period, money paid will be forfeited.
