Let’s make Nerikiri!

Nerikiri(練り切り) are a type of traditional Japanese confections which are made from white bean paste called Shiro-an(白あん) and rice flour called Gyuhi(求肥). They are usually shaped into motifs of the season, such as cherry blossoms in sprig and red leaves in autumn, and they are served at the tea ceremony. Let’s make colorful, beautiful Nerikiri, and enjoy them with the eyes as well as the palate together!
